Frosting ("we", "us", or "our") operates frosting.go2thehive.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

When you use the Service, you provide your CAKE API key and CAKE domain to authenticate your session. Your API key is used solely to make requests to the CAKE API on your behalf during your active session. It is not written to any database or persistent storage on our servers.

2.2 Information we store

To improve your workflow, we store a limited set of operational data tied to your CAKE domain:

· Click IDs of conversions you have previously generated through the Service, used to filter those clicks from future sessions so you do not accidentally re-fire them.

· Your CAKE domain name, used as the lookup key for the above.

We do not store your API key, your CAKE account credentials, affiliate data, offer data, or any personal information about the individuals represented in your CAKE account.

2.3 Usage and technical data

We may collect standard technical information when you use the Service, such as browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for service maintenance and improvement and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

· Authenticate your session with the CAKE API.

· Provide the features of the Service, including click deduplication across sessions.

· Maintain, improve, and secure the Service.

· Respond to support requests or inquiries.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data retention

Stored click IDs and your associated CAKE domain are retained for as long as you are an active user of the Service. If you wish to have this data deleted, you may contact us at any time using the information in Section 9.

5. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. API keys are never written to disk or logs. Session data is handled server-side using secure, HTTP-only session cookies. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-party services

The Service communicates with the CAKE Marketing API on your behalf. Data returned from the CAKE API is processed in real time and displayed to you; it is not stored by us beyond what is described in Section 2.2. Your use of CAKE Marketing is governed by CAKE's own terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of CAKE Marketing or any other third-party services you connect to through your CAKE account.

7. Cookies

The Service uses a single server-side session cookie to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is essential to the operation of the Service and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
