How to find your API key

Your API keys are located in the System Access tab under Security in your CAKE settings. You’ll need to be an Admin and have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled.

Enable Multi-Factor Authentication

1. Login to your CAKE account.
2. Click SETUP under your name at the bottom left of the screen, then click Security.
3. Under Admin Portal, check the box that says Enable Multi-Factor Authentication, then click Save.
4. Follow the steps CAKE gives you to continue. You may need to logout and log back in again for the changes to fully take effect.

Find/Create your API key

1. Login to your CAKE account.
2. Click SETUP under your name at the bottom left of the screen, then click Security.
3. Click the System Access tab.
4. Under API Keys, find your key and click Show.
5. If you don’t have any API keys or want to create a new one specifically for Frosting, click the Add button.
6. Enter a name for your key in the Alias field, then select the Start Date and End Date you want your key to be valid through.
7. Click Save.
